Default Tonda's Place (formerly The River Grill)

    400 Main Street,
    Wellsville, OH 43968
    (330) 532-4000

Local family restaurant overlooking the Ohio River. Specializing in breakfast foods and homemade breads. Teddy Bear pancakes for the kids. Trash Potatoes is the favorite for everyone. (I can vouch, best dam breakfast foods this side of the Mississippi! Perfect after a night of wheelin craziness)

From Oak Tree; Take 16 School Rd. to Clark into town, right on 17th, left on Main St. and follow it down. Restaurant is on the right next to the Gazebo and WWI memorial.

If there road legal, no problem at all. You have to drive practically the whole length of the town.

REALLY, You guys don't know of Tondas? (The River Grill) Yeasus, its part of the reason why I look forward to stayin the weekend, wake up to a great home cooked breakfast. Tonda, the owner signed up on here, hopefully she will post up the menu and take any questions.

Nope never been there. Usally my Wife unit cooks up some breakfast before we head out on the trails. I will have to give her a brake once and awhile and take her there. Is breakfast all they serve?

Yeah, Tonda the owner is signed up for the site, just shes kinda new to forums and still tryin to figure it all out. I'm sure once she gets the hang of it, she'll be able to ask any questions and post up some coupons/discounts.

---- Mention you read about the restaurant on this site and get $1 off your order ---- (I think I got that right, hopefully she can clear it up)

From what she told me, she is very thankful that I got a hold of her and for allowing the Restaurant to be advertised on here. She had a bunch of riders come in this past weekend and looks forward to us every year. I told here to be prepared for memorial day weekend, hahahah.

Way I see it, patronize the local shops and be friendly/nice; it makes us look good, gives us all a better name and also gains us more support. Its a win win. If anyone else is familiar with other local shops/stores that are rider friendly, be sure to drop the site name to them, get the word out and keep the community growing.

That would be nice to drive through town with my rigs. When we go down to Harlan kentucky to ride your aloud to ride your stuff in town. We drove downtown with our buggies and even past a few cops and never a problem. You just can't be stupid. This was the 1st time I drove full hydro steering on the road.

We ate there last weekend and it was a great or better then I remember. Met with Tonda and she seems very inviting to all us crazy wheelers.

Tonda's dropped the ball this weekend. usually GREAT service and good food - when Greg and I went - the server sucked! i had to get half of my own shit, wouldnt bring us the check... sucked majorly! the other half of our group went right before us, caught them at the tail-end of their meal, their experience wasnt any better. sunday was good - there was like 16 of us and the older lady did good. food was still mediocre. has anyone gone to Kat's Kitchen? how is that one?

K, I was down there last weekend and Tonda really apologized for your experience. She fired the waitress that jacked your visit up. She told me to tell you to give her another try and ask for her specifically next time.
