actualy jumpin over ditches to climbs is really fun on a bike, theres a nice one at crow that has a bout a 4 foot or so ditch in front right off the entrance rd in there and you just gotta do a little braap over it, and then it goes really steep, only part that sucks is if you dont make it and have to go back through it

Basicly while the road is being worked on noone will be able to get through -period- they will have to find another way around the equipment.we will do our best to do this work when traffic will be minimal.

That about 15min away from me too. Id say your looking at an hour 30 from the ville, perhaps more if you had a dumptruck.

With the road being closed will be a perfect opportunity for people to learn the alternative routes.

That would be nice for sure in the area where we ditch across the road to install the pipes. Back fill and pack with excavator and then top coat the ditch with stone.

Well OR, we both know where there is about 8 pieces of cut offs about 8' long and 24" in diameter. Only downfall is the bell ends are gone. Should I dig them up or are they worthless?

You need to take a look and see what happened to them since they didnt have the proper joints. They would be good for a narrow crossing. Maybe a Preacher hill.

I was actually thinking about this earlier.. Might not really need to bring any in because if your able to cut into that shale sidewall just before the problem area, you may end up with exactly what you need.

Right , there is a whole hill of that stuff. I just dont know enough about that shale. Wonder why I dont see other people using it down there. I wonder if it is to soft and just crumbles up?

Shale is definetly soft and crumbly, but it the real soft spots it could be better than just slick clay...

Man would it be nice to get about 30 tri-alxe loads of #1 sized crushed concrete for free, trucking and all.....

There is a shit ton of concrete road slabs, probably 10-12" thick, near Oak Tree. If there was a way to move them, they would be perfect to place in the soft spots in the road.

all this stone talk still makes me thing about the old brick factory down the road. I have been in there a bunch and have seen it all, there is a TON(s) of stone in there just sitting. We least need to see who owns the place and ask if we can have it, or if they dont care is it disappears.

Its close to where we need it to be and can be moved around easily.

Here is just SOME of whats in there:
91 YJ (2" lift - needs some lovin), 01 YFM366 (waaaayyy too much to list, its a money pit), SDG 125 Pitbike

good read. removing trees and stuff to "daylight the road" do you think that would be beneficial in this situation?
