    Default Wellsvilletrails.com Feedback

The forum, like the 'ville, is the shit. I donno if its cause our generous administrators go through and clean everything up daily, but this forum is for the most part very easy going.

Been on BansheeHQ trying to get some info, and if your not running a 500cc motor, with stroker kit, in the desert, and have 2,020,202,020 posts, everyone is a dick to you.

I asked if anyone had any means of carrying luggage on their quads, and I had 5 guys laughing at me telling me that you don't need anything when your out riding. I guarantee that riding in the dunes requires nothing more than a bottle of aquafina and your set for the day. They have little conception of true riding like we are fortunate enough to have.

We have some heated arguments, but very little shit talk. It makes the information source much more usable and shows that us wellsvillians are crazy mofo's, but civilized (for the most part).

Its nice that everyone is shown respect, unless they proclaim that the site should be deleted. And even then, their opinion is considered.

Keep it up, and Long Live Wellsville.

Luggage? What the f%#k? Haha noob!

But seriously, I'm kinda curious about it. I hate having to constantly carry a bookbag. Its hard to keep your tools from puncturing your beer cans.

(As far as the carrying on the quad goes. Look into getting a 6-pack rack and a hardbody igloo cooler. Carry the beer in the backback)

Exactly. The more you can carry, the longer you can ride!

I've looked into 6-pack racks, but I don't think I want one for 2 reasons. First, I have a tendency to flip backwards quite often, and any weight on the back of the quad wont help my lack of skills. Second, I have a tendency to filp backwards quite often, so I'd probably smash the shit out of it and ruin all my cargo. hahaha

I'm aiming more towards a tank bag and some other cargo bags that I could tie all over the bike. I like to wire tie a small military ammo box to the front bumper, It works very well but isn't quite enough.

Things I like to have with me on the trails:
    Apple Pie (the wonderful beverage)
    Water
    Tire plugs
Can of fix a flat, not to fix flats but to fill tires - one can will fill 4 atv tires!!
    Smokes
    Camera
    Various tools
    Spark plugs
Scooby Snacks (the real stinky ones)

i carry the cooler on the front rack on the utility. sucks for you though. when i'm riding the CR i just bought a set of freestyle riding pants. they have the cargo zip up pockets. can fit 2 20oz bottles in them plus i still have more room for safety meeting supplies and keys to the truck and what not. never liked the idea of a camel pack but i've never tried it and my buddies love them. however you become the mule of the group. (they have pockets in them usually)

    I'll come up with something....

What would be real sweet is: Yamaha Banshee Chainsaw Holder, now only $19.95 at WalMart. hahahaha

But again, this forum is great.

I was looking at the front bumper area, I think I could make a decent little toolbox up there. I'll post pics when I do it.

Preacher, how do you keep the screw cap from sticking? PVC is notorious for getting stuck to each other. I know on my potato gun, I have to carry a wrench with me to get the cap on and off.

Think about how dirty the threads are getting on the potato gun. Hair spray and potato slop. Maybe a light grease on the threads?

Preacher. Great Idea. Again, this is why this site is great. Banshee HQ would frown upon anything that isn't over $300 and chrome plated.

I'm gonna have to copy your idea. I think I'm gonna make the pipe setup, except put it on the front below the bumper or maybe inside the frame. I'll post some pics also.

I hate sites like that, or the control freak sites.

i have a 6" long 3/8 bolt through the square end so i don't need a wrench. it slides through so i can use it from either side.

YJCOREY, its funny you mention the "safety meeting". we referred to it the same way, or as a "Safety break" when i worked as a security supervisor in the entertainment industry... although im guessing you do it for your own safety... we did it more for the safety of the paying patrons... hehehe... i always told people i took "breaks" as a public service... kept me from killing random stupid people that id meet everyday...

now, i know this may ruffle some feathers, and make a few people a little butt-hurt, but the fact remains... there are many different forms of the previously mentioned "Safety Break" or "Safety Meeting", and everyone must decide for themselve when, if, and how to handle this situtation on their own... but "Safety Devices" do not come in a liquid form of any sort. This would be known as "Courage"... now sometimes, you may need just one, or both... but rarely will you be able to perform to your full potential at demonstrating vehicular control and finesse, if you do not use one of these important items of your PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)... This Public Service Announcement has been brought to you by Club MURDER, and also with a grant from WARPIG And ASSociates
