Default Donation of a BBQ pit for the new Village OHV Club

Been wondering around the site and have found that many of you people are starting to get really involved with the new village ohv club. I was offered a large oil tank ( between 150 to 200 gallons) by a friend and am considering picking it up for free. I have all the means to turn this bad boy into a BBQ pit that will make mouths water for miles....... and I was wondering if the new OHV club would be interested in the donation.....for free....My only concern is that it must be placed in a location where it will be respected....like next to the village administration building( if there will be one).I'm sure me and my buddy R&D can organize a way to get it down there.I was going to get it for my own use......but i think it would be more fit for the club. Anyway.....do I have any takers on the offer.....it is only worth it for me to spend the time and little bit of money if it is going to be appreciated.....pluss.....it would be a great thing to have around for those veteran benefit runs everyone talks about....easy money on the side to use for the club maintenance or for vet $...hit me up if i got takers on the offer...or any suggestions

Well..... I picked up the tank yesterday and this thing is really gonna be nice.....gonna start torchin Saturday....layin out the plans on AutoCad right now........its set up is still kinda undetermined on which way to slice this thing......pros and cons on both set ups.....doin a CAD for both ways and me and RnD will decide upon the final design....if anyone got any good pit designs they ahve seen.....spit them out so i can get as much input as possible before i start slapin welds on this thing......wont bring it down till the end of april for sure....wanna burn any remenance of oil out of this thing before i even start cookin with it........dah!

I'd do axle shafts.....but i dont want no women to grab for a piece of meat to put in there mouth and have there money makers burned so my brother of another mother cant get his dick beat at night......lol.......it would just get too hot.....thats why im goin with the spring.....disapated heat better......+ thsi thing is already gonna be heavy enough with teh harley pipes on the lid......axle will be unnecessary weight.....thanks for the suggestions though!

Sadly, the most progress I have made so far is to push it out of the bed of my buddies pick up, and pick up the harley pipes from jshome. We were going to torch it in half.....but apparently you cant get setaline right now cause the plant in Carolina burnt to the ground?....idk.....but we are trying to get our camper down there right now too.....so one thing at a time........the pit will definately be done by memorial day where it will really get used! Just got alot on the plate with school, work, and other bs that sadly needs to be prioritized before fun.
